Corona encourages all Madrid residents to be part of the solution and invites them to visit the platform that will be installed in Príncipe Pío (Madrid) until June 9 from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.. In addition, all visitors can contribute their grain of sand by going there with their plastic containers and recycling them in their containers, in return they will receive a voucher for a Crown that can be exchanged at any supermarket or Casa Corona.
Anxo Martínez, Director RSC Corona España explained that from Corona they feel that the sea is our home and therefore they want to make visible and denounce that if we continue like this, in our waters only plastic will remain.
Corona has been working since 2017 with the Parley for the Oceans association and together they have already saved 100 islands around the world from the threat of plastic under the Protect Paradise project and this summer they aim to clean a total of 500,000 m2 of Spanish beaches.
