The new smart lighting collection includes TRÅDFRI LED bulbs with remote control, FLOALT light panels and SURTE and JORMLIEN light doors for BESTÅ cabinets and METOD kitchens. It is a solution with which no type of electrical installation is necessary. It is only necessary to replace the traditional bulb with the TRÅDFRI LED model.
The fact that this technology is inside each bulb and its regulator allows its use in any type of lamp, however old it is and is also compatible with traditional bulb measures. In addition, each TRÅDFRI remote control can direct up to ten lamps at a time.

Also in the coming years, it plans to launch other different products that allow us, along with these, to build their smart homes.
The only problem is that this new IKEA collection will initially be launched in four pilot markets: Sweden, Czech Republic, Italy and Belgium. In North America and other European countries, including Spain, this collection will be launched in April 2017... So we have to wait.
